Nextron's Reforestation Project 2021
Climate change is one of the world’s most pressing problems. To keep global warming under control, many countries have agreed that collective action is needed. In the latest climate summit COP26, more than 100 nations pledged to end deforestation by 2030.
For many years, Nextron has been fighting climate change by reducing emissions and funding local environmental groups. This year, together with Taiwan Reforestation Association, 400 additional arbors were planted in 7000㎡ around New Taipei City, offsetting 12.8 tones of CO2.
Regarding environmental restoration, agricultural land was restored into streams for the rehabilitation of indigenous fireflies and other species.
